Today, I'm excited to share not one but two delightful projects created with leftover pieces from the December "All the Best" Paper Pumpkin Craft Kit. While the original kit projects are stunning on their own, I love exploring alternative ways to use the materials. This interactive card not only showcases the versatility of the "All the Best" kit but also introduces a fun and engaging element. I created all of these projects and my PPX video projects from 1 pieces of a single kit.

Not one but two delightful projects created with leftover pieces from the December "All the Best" Paper Pumpkin Craft Kit. While the original kit projects are stunning on their own, I love exploring alternative ways to use the materials. I created this purse treat box and pull tab flip card alternates for today's blog hop.

These are the cards and clear card box assembled per this month's kit instructions.

This view of the box shows it from all angles. I even repurposed the tissue paper from the kit for the inside of the treat box.

The pull tab flip card is a fun interactive card design. I used the Love of Spring Dies for the gold foliage on the background.

I have complete instructions for this interactive card and the box above, as well as helpful videos.

I used the printed card fronts for the background on the box. The word "Love" comes from the Love of Spring Dies.

I used the Basic Borders Dies for the edgelit die cut on the front flap.

I'll be posting the instructions and a video for the wreath circle video shortly, check back.

Crafting with Thoughtful Expressions: My focal point, the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle, features a captivating hummingbird stamp and coordinating dies. To infuse warmth and comfort into our creation, I opted to color the hummingbird with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. The result is not just a card but a heartfelt expression of sympathy. I created this sympathy card with the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle coming out in the Stampin' Up January - April Mini Catalog. I also used the Purple Glitter Gems. The designer paper is from the Flight and Airy Collection that will be available free during Saleabration.

I used the sentiments from the stamp set to create a sympathy card. However this design is versatile and can be used for many occasions simply by changing the greeting.

I colored the hummingbird and flower images with Stampin' Blends Markers. I have several helpful video tutorials linked above in the INSTRUCTIONS section to help you with coloring techniques.

The Stampin' Up Thoughtful Expressions die set has some fantastic layering label dies. I used them with Vellum for the greeting on the front. I also used them with white form the inside greeting.

The Distressed Gold background paper adds an elegant background layer of sophistication. The metallic finish and rich texture provide a serene backdrop.

I just love these new Flower Cart dies. So adorable.

A view of the inside of the card. I added some clouds and grass from the new Bright Skies dies. This die set coordinates with the Sunny Days Saleabration Designer Series Paper I used.

I cut the flower from the Sunny Days DSP using the from the Flower Cart set. Then I added some daisies from the Hearts and Flower Adhesive Embellishments.

Make Giving Cash Fun With Money Cakes
As our children grow older, finding the perfect gift becomes more challenging. Enter the era of cash gifts – a versatile and universally appreciated choice. But why settle for a plain envelope when you can transform that cash into a memorable and creative surprise? In this post, I'll share instructions for a delightful Cash Cake and provide links to the Cash Wreath that has been a hit in previous years.
 
1. Cash Cake Extravaganza
Materials:

- Approx 125 Dollar Bills (denomination of your choice)
- 2 or 3 Multiple sizes foam circles
- Scotch Tape
- Large Elastics or Elastic Cord
- Spray Paint
- Topper
- Ribbon
- Optional: Battery light
- Creativity!

 
MONEY CAKE INSTRUCTIONS

STEP #1: FOAM CIRCLES
You'll want multiple sizes of foam circles. I purchased them at Michael's.
These are the sizes I used, and it took approximately 125 dollar bills.You can use any size diameter, but I do recommend at least 1.5" thickness. I got 1 that was only 1" in thickness and had some issues attaching the bills.
Optional: Spray paint the tops any color.
 

STEP #2: ROLL AND ATTACH DOLLAR BILLS
Roll the dollar bills around a pen or pencil and then use scotch tape to hold them together.

Attach an elastic or tie elastic cord around the foam.

Insert the rolled dollar bills.

Tie ribbon around around each circle to cover the elastic. Stack the circles. If you have battery operated lights wrap them around.

Attach topper. I used a snow globe music box, but you can use anything.
