Inspired by the whimsical adventures of Snoopy and the Red Baron, this handmade card draws from the charming Take to the Sky Suite featured in the latest Stampin’ Up Catalog. The Inspiration Behind the CardThe Take to the Sky Suite instantly captured my imagination with its beautifully sketched planes and innovative “build a plane” die cuts. It’s not just about creating a card; it’s about crafting a story. With this project, I wanted to blend nostalgia and creativity, bringing a piece of classic animation into our modern craft.
Crafting and Sending Your CardCrafted to fit perfectly within a standard medium Stampin Up Envelope, this card holds a surprise both inside and out. The exterior features a meticulously assembled die-cut plane, while the inside boasts a stamped and colored plane using Stampin’ Blends markers—a little secret for the recipient to discover! Do keep in mind that depending on your choice of embellishments or dimensionals, there might be an additional postage fee if you decide to mail this treasure.
